Uniform Rules for the Circuit Courts of Wyoming

Text of Rules
Rule 1.01.
Title.
These rules shall be known as the Uniform Rules for Circuit Courts of Wyoming and may be cited as U.R.C.C.
Rule 1.02.
Scope.
The Uniform Rules for the District Courts of Wyoming shall govern the practice before the circuit courts of Wyoming.
Rule 1.03.
Definitions.
For purposes of these rules:

When the words "district court" or "court" are used in the adopted Uniform Rules for the District Courts of Wyoming, they shall be construed to mean "circuit court."

When the words "district judge" or "judge" are used in the adopted Uniform Rules for the District Courts of Wyoming, they shall be construed to mean "circuit judge."

| (c) |
When the words "clerk of district court" or "clerk" are used in the adopted Uniform Rules for the District Courts, they shall mean "circuit judge" or the person so designated by the circuit judge.

| (d) |
When the words "court reporter" are used in the adopted Uniform Rules for the District Courts, they shall mean "clerk of circuit court."

Rule 1.04.
Appearances.
Appearances in circuit courts shall be governed by Rule 101, Uniform Rules for the District Court, except that in small claims actions, appearances may also be permitted as provided by W.S. 1-21-202(b).
Rule 1.05.
Time limits.
Time limits permitted or required by rules or court order shall be governed by Rule 202, Uniform Rules for the District Courts.
Rule 1.06.
Provisions not applicable in circuit courts.
The following rules of the Uniform Rules for District Courts shall not apply in circuit courts:

Rule 501(a).
