A.  GENERAL POLICY:

It is the policy of the Board of Judicial Policy and Administration that the network and file server housed in the Information Technology Office of the Wyoming Supreme Court is for the use of the Judicial Branch of Wyoming State Government.  Internet and Email service through this network is only available to court personnel who are employed by the state funded judiciary.  This includes the Wyoming Supreme Court, the offices of the district judges, and the circuit courts.  This does not include the municipal court or drug court personnel or retirees.

B.  UNDERSTANDINGS:

  1. Network users who are provided Internet and Email access through the Supreme Court’s network, agree to adhere to all policies adopted by the Board of Judicial Policy and Administration regarding use of computers, electronic mail and Internet.

  1. Network users are advised that the system is set to backup files that are on the local server on a nightly basis.  Work stored on individual workstations (C Drive) is not backed up at all by the network system and the users are responsible for backup of these files.
